Adding fractions

Adding fractions

a, c, e = numerator

b, d, f = denominator

-- = fraction line

WHAT IS IT ?

Fraction is numerical quantity that is not a whole number.
• the top number (the numerator) says how many parts we have.
• the bottom number (the denominator) says how many parts the whole is divided into

CALCULATION:

X
+
=

EXAMPLE: CHYBAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

CCCCCCCCCCCCCCCcc

We substitute the unknowns a, b into the above formula ax+b=0, where a must not equal 0. Similarly, we replace the number 0 on the left side.

For example:

2x+2=8

then

2x=8/-2

x=6/2

x=3
